The location is up the Hill with am amazing view over...
The location is up the Hill with am amazing view over Valparaíso. Freddy is a real host, after one day we felt like staying with a friend and not with a host. He went to the fish market with us, he cooked for us and showed us the nicest places of Valparaíso on our last day, he also taught us how to do Pisco sour. And the beds are so comfortable.

JaguiHaus a gem in Valparaíso!
Our stay at Freddy's was a true delight. We felt straight at home in the cozy Loft apartment where we had everything we needed. Especially the fully equipped kitchen and big fridge was a plus. The terrace has a lovely view and the streets, besides a few dog barks, are calm and guarantee a good sleep at night. Freddy the owner is a fun and forthcoming host with great knowledge and tips of Valparaíso. Dont forget to ask him about the fish market;)

Very friendly host who made us feel like family. Exceptional place to watch Valparaiso's fireworks!
Our extended family of 8 took a 2-week vacation to Chile which covered the New Years weekend. When I looked for a place to stay in Valparaiso most of the hotels and hostals were already long booked. I was worried that there would not be a place big enough to accommodate our entire group. Luckily I found Jaguihaus. Due to the demand for accommodations for Valparaiso’s famous New Years’ firework show, the cost was somewhat more than what I expected to spend, but the value we attained exceeded our expectations. Our entire group thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Jaguihaus, its owner Freddy, and Freddy’s family and friends on our stay over New Years weekend. The 2 loft apartments we rented were adequate in size for our 3-night stay. Upon our arrival our refrigerators were stocked with water and 2 bottles of champagne for New Years Eve. Freddy helped us with dinner arrangements on our first night, and along with his nephew Sebastian took us on a tour of Valparaiso on our first full day. The highlight of our stay was New Years Eve on the terrace of Jaguihaus, from which we enjoyed a panorama of Valparaiso’s famous fireworks show put on from barges in the town’s harbor. Music, drinks and a delicious spread of food provided compliments of our host (as an unexpected part of the New Years “package”) added to our New Years Eve experience. Through our entire stay Freddy was eager to ensure that our stay was a pleasant one, and he thoroughly succeeded!
We did pay a premium for our stay over New Years weekend. But due to the influx of people coming to watch Valparaiso's world-famous fireworks, all of Valparaiso's accommodations had rates higher than at other times in the year.

Vista de Valpo con la cabeza en tu almohada :)
Desde tu cama, con la cabeza en la almohada podías ver el mar y las luces de Valparaiso. Precioso!!! Excelentes camas, colchones nuevos maravillosos. Además muy buena ubicación, se puede llegar a la ex carcel o a Cerro Alegre caminando por calles preciosas y con linda vista. Si no quieres caminar hay locomoción pública que se puede tomar muy muy cerca del hotel. No se lo pierdan!!!
